New York fashion week might be nine days long but that doesn't mean you can just squeeze another show in as Kanye West has this week discovered.
The rapper announced a last minute addition to the already jam-packed show schedule which will see him present his second offering for sportswear label Adidas.
But West's choice of time - 12pm on Wednesday 16th is causing some controversy among fellow designers.
Anne Bowen was due to launch a new streetwear line at the same time and has blasted West for his late entry to the schedule:
"Kanye knows he is a media sensation and it is just not ethical to do this. It’s like we are David and he is Goliath. We have put our heart and soul into our show, and should not be stepped on like this,” Bowen told WWD.
"In order for our show to have any significance, we now have to move our date and time which is a logistical nightmare, three days out from our originally scheduled time." She continues.
Bowen has now moved her show to Thursday 17th to avoid the clash.
