Actor Johnny Depp has expressed mixed feelings about his daughter’s seemingly quick transition from Los Angeles teenager to fashion and film darling.

The Pirates of the Caribbean star’s daughter has been swiftly welcomed into the world of fashion after attending a Chanel show in New York back in March. In the company of her mother, French actress and singer Vanessa Paradis, the then-15-year-old made her first public appearance decked in the luxury label’s wares at a catwalk event that welcomed Beyoncé, Julianne Moore and Pharrell Williams.
Now 16, Lily-Rose is the face of Chanel eyewear, stars in the current issue of Vogue Paris and has two films in the pipeline – one in which she will star alongside Natalie Portman.

But her 52-year-old father has gone on the record to say: “To be honest, I’m quite worried,” he told Germany’s Gala magazine of his only daughter’s career. “I wasn’t expecting all this to happen to Lily-Rose, especially not at this age. But it’s her passion and she’s having fun.”
