Emerging fashion designers from 24 countries will take part in AFWA the much anticipated 3-day event celebrating and encouraging sustainability in African & African inspired fashion, art, culture and rich heritage.
AFWA is kicking off on 24th with a press conference, this is the opportunity to meet & interview participating designers, Nollywood Superstar who is also our host, Ramsey Nouah and the renown Artist and Anchors who will be opening the event.
"We have made it our business to package designer’s participation a successful business and not just global entertainment consumption. If fashion week becomes entertainment and direct communication, what happens to the actual market, the selling that goes on in showrooms after the shows? The empowerment? Creating job opportunities through fashion? The support of edition in fashion and development of skills? The development of the African fashion industry? The Encouragement of Sustainability in products and design?"
