Your dream of being able to dress like Cookie Lyon is one step closer to being realized, all thanks to Deborah Lippmann. The brand is releasing a line of nail polishes inspired by “Empire,” but most importantly, the Lyon matriarch.
If you’re even the mildest “Empire” fan, you know that Cookie loves her nails, and the three polishes, a shimmering purple, a glittery gold, and a dark red with names like “Hustle Hard” and “War of the Roses” definitely reflect that fondness.
“I was mostly inspired by Cookie,” Lippmann told Allure. “I wanted colors that complemented her powerful and assertive wardrobe as well as made a statement on their own. I absolutely love the gilded Empire offices, the ornate homes, and the New York City hip-hop scene.”
The limited-edition polishes will be available at Nordstrom and Sephora stores in November, running at $24 a pop. Hey, Cookie doesn’t get anything but the best.
