Kanye West Offers A Glimpse Inside Yeezy Season 2 With New Short Film

Because Kanye West is the kind of mysterious artist who constantly keeps us on our toes, any chance to sneak a peek at his creative process is always a welcome invitation. Which is exactly why his new short film is practically required viewing for any true fan, or even any fashion enthusiast.

Last month, ‘Ye debuted his Yeezy Season 2 line at New York Fashion Week, even premiering a new track in the process. The collection arrives in stores this Thursday (Oct. 29), and ahead of its release, he’s given us the “Yeezy Season 2 Film,” a behind-the-scenes look at how the line came to fruition.

But in true Kanye fashion, there’s a creatively intriguing catch: the 20-minute long mini-doc is completely silent (a script at the top of the clip graciously warns you right off the bat: “This documentation has no sound”). Nevertheless, the vid is really quite stunning, and the lack of sound actually lets you focus and engage more with the media.
